Corpse Thrower: Sand force....top scorcher???
Ha! I just stumbled across this one. Not even 2 days ago I was eyeing up a re-re scorcher body against my TA01 M3 chassis thinking I may need a shorter TA02 tub to get the wheelbase right. Looks mean!

Top pics and action again. I'll be moving to Hawaii by summertime and will hopefully be able to post pics close to these:)

Wyoming: Some of my current collection
I agree with pagedm...the rustic trucks on the pine shelf just work. Got my clod and 1/6 Willy's on the top of my shelf as well. An exquisite group of runners you got there.

mrmtodd: Hasbro gi joe willy's crawler part 3
TRF - Yep it's a 1/4 ton Willy's MB. Scooby - Yes, lots of thinking! Especially about which way all the shafts and gears must turn in order for it to go fwd. Good thing there were a handful of these things built on scale4x4.org for me to 'borrow' ideas from.

Thanks for the comments guys. -Hitch: I thought the plate was too thin as well, but it has held up very well. If I were to do it all over again I would have left more plastic in the Jeeps faux xfer case girdle so I could sink more than 3 screws to mount it..

Yep, Hasbro did a nice job in detailing these. The dust/sand/grit detail is all factory done. I let the kids play with this one for a few weeks before tearing into it, and the Transformers were a nice fit!

That is Spectacular! I would have to start collecting shelf queen's if I had a display like that. Simply gorgeous!

mrmtodd: Snow bash
Thanks for the comments all. Slimmy - I'll have to look around for those ball diffs at some stage. Thanks for the tip! Rosey - I got the flipped radio tray idea from one of Wyoming's Clods. It does work great in keeping the receiver dry.

buzzkill: Baja frog project
Woohoo that is nice. I have a Frog Scorcher as well and it is a bit empty in the back. I have some alu rod laying around and may have a go at making a rear cage. I like the square bit that joins up the 4 bars.

mrmtodd: Winter basher comp entry
I'll have to do it agains sometime. I have a jump now! I drew out an 'L' shaped track, and this pic only shows the bottom leg of the 'L'. Dam 10 - The wheels are old HPI 5-star 2.2 x 2.0 for trucks like the RC10T and such, and come with tons of hub/bearing adapters to fit almost any car.
