Thats the best TL-o1 I've ever seen - period ! Just shows how versatile a chassis it is, all you need is some imagination and creativity. :D :D :D

Jorisschulte: What is this??
Its one of the long wheelbase Kyosho Optima Mids. Assuming its not had parts swapped around with other versions then the gold shocks would suggest its a Optima Mid Custom Special, the last of the optima mid series. You can buy excellent body and decals from marwanrc. If you don't fancy the curved cockpit of the custom special body then the more angular custom body (lwb) will also fit fine.

Percymon: Refurbished super sabre
The sub wing is missing from the non tamiya shells which is a shame. Did think about making one from some other shell off cuts but I quite like the openness of the rear now , plus it's easier to clean ;)

They are a rather under rated member if the hotshot series of cars, but still great fun in the build ;)

bjorklo: Had to get his one just for the chassie
Hey bjorklo - I used my Vajra kit to build a Egress re-re but fear not i'm now using the leftovers with soem Vanquish parts to actually build the Vajra too !

Looking fantastic Mike - many thanks for sorting those BF8/9 parts too - i couldn't have done my Egress re-re without them !

mheald: Nice, but she aint no egress!
A great buggy, and very much a poor relation to the Egress, but actually the drivetrain and the plastic chassis are good for those that want to run these vintage models !

mheald: I seem to like the ugly ones!
Nice one Mike - good to have another in the gallery ! I raided mine to build a re-re Egress, but have subsequently combined the remainder of the kit, with some Vanquish parts I had, to actually build a Vajra too (just got the body to sort now). ITs a good kit for the money really, although the tyres feel very soft and mine are oily too

Wandy: A nib dt-02 with esc for £40 you say? oh, go on then....
bargain of the century - don;t forget Modelzone share the same warehouse as Tamiya UK distributor, so I'd expect a bit more Tamiya on MZ shelves in the future.
