description  The way I drive (or should I say fly!?!) my Short Course Truck it's no wonder the body shells don't seem to last 2 minutes before they are ripped & torn to pieces. I have looked into ways of increasing the life of my shells especially after all the work put in recently of creating a more detailed SCT look. You will need a sharp pair of scissors, re-inforced tape & a product called 'Shoe Goo' which is a repair glue for shoes. First cut the tape & place into know weak points in the lexan shell you are using, with the SC10 shell shown I have gone a bit over the top but want the shell to last as long as possible. Then when all the tape is along the stress points use a drop of the 'Shoe Glue' & run it over the tape & into the corners of the weak points. I use half a 110ml tube per shell. Leave to dry for 24-48hr's depending on hoe much you have put on & then you are ready to roll!!!

Shoe Goo is a big friend of mine. I always have some in my pit bag at races. Before using it I would Kill a shell in less than a month. As kalsh said it's great for runners. Old shells that before would have been bined can live on as long as the paint the glu is bonding to is stuck to shell well enough. I have found some airbrush and can paints not to stick as well as Tamiya cans.

Do it in a well ventilated area and wear silicon gloves. This is a great fix for bodies which are split already which you want to keep as a runner.
