| description | This is my tamiya m04 that has been modified with homemade carbon chassis plates. I have also narrowed the front width to fit the porsche body properly. I have also added various blue alloy bits i had laying around. Painted the taisan paintjob myself. The decals are made by Tamiyoman here on TC. Tonight i gave it a good bashing around my local carpet track. I broke the styrene body mount template i have made. Need to make some new ones in carbonfiber. The car handled really well actually. I will add a more regular shock setup to the front of the chassis. The monodamper makes the car abit unstable when turning hard. I added a pic showing an original m04 frontend to compare with my modified one. Comments always welcome.

Thanks for the kind comments. The full size porsche belongs to the manager at my local rc track. He wanted to buy the car. Had to pretend to think about selling it haha. Not for sale.
Great looking Porsche Poul. The Taisan liver suits the tamtech body very well. It looked like the chassis handled very well too.
Nice build Poul, looks very smart indeed. Great work on both the body and chassis.
That looks really cool mate, plus I have Porsche Taisan Starcard and Porsche STP Starcard being worked on now, should be available in 2-3 weeks. Cheers
Total Respect!!
Great way to get a powerful chassis under a TamTech. The TVP CF chassis works great on the M04 to shorten the wheelbase (did this to my M04 aswell). Maybe a swaybar of some sort on the front would keep the monodamper in check.
Nice pair of porsches
Great job on this car, the chassis work is awesome, perfect adaptation and interpretation of a classic
Well done! Looks like a really fun car to run and to build.
