description  Well. this is my first post on TC and I have been following the site for a couple of years now, so it's time I start contributing too. I have always liked the Trans AM race cars of the late 60's so when I saw this new HPI body, I had to put together a new project. Features a TA04S (Corvette C5-R #58272) chassis with some minor modifications (i.e. body mounts positions, etc.). In addition, I have been working on a custom side mirror as well as exhaust and other small details. I have found much inspiration on Tamiya Club as well as some neat tricks. I'm thinking of adding a partial interior as well as a detailed driver figure - open face helmet, etc. I hope to have the completed model finished soon, but couldn't wait to post some photos. Enjoy.

Welcome back to Tc, are you adding brushless to finish the muscle car off? Interior would definately finish it

Very nice work, you can find Tamiya rally interiors pretty easily on Ebay, and remove the co-driver by cutting it out if you want, filling it in with sheet styrene.
