New Piston Liner - YEAH RIGHT

| description | Got this Tamiya 18 on a Terra Crusher of Flea Bay, and was bought in the end as a private deal. 'It's had a new piston liner fitted' he said on the phone and on the Flea Bay description said it had run recently, with no problems. How on earth did it run is my question, Sgt. Barnes took it away to give it a over haul because the compression was shall we say a bit iffy (there was none), he reported back today that:
1. The Piston Liner either hadn't been changed and then said hold on thats a 21 liner
2. The Head etc had been considerably burn because over to running to lean (very lean) coursing over heat (and near melt down
3. The Crank Case was full of what ever had been thrown in there (Air Filter Missing)
and 4. just to add a touch of excitement the Head isn't even the one for the engine.
So any takers, Ģ1,000,000 for a rare, used, in reasonable condition Tamiya 18 size engine. Needs a little TLC just to re-tune any takers?
I think it'll end up in the wheelie bin......

No Tuned Pipe Dante77 just the normal Tamiya one, but whatever had got through it or touched it did so with keeping it warm, maybe it was a cold day and he wanted to warm his hand on it along with add to global warming
