| description | Well after a long time away I've rekindled my passion for RC & painting now the glorious days of summer are upon us. I took my Slash 4x4 out for a run last week & was instantly hooked again on the great offroad handling & the way the vehicle reacted to bumps & jumps in the field we were using. When I came home I got a few shells out of storage that I had part done & decided to crack on & finish them off. This particluar shell is designed for the HPI Blitz but will fit the Slash 4x4 with additional trimming. I picked a few of these shells up from down south at the SouthSea Short Course Shoot-out at Adur last year. I have gone for a basic metallic blue / light silver to go with a retro decal set I have. The design of the decals is basic just to get me back into the swing of things. I painted the roll cage a bright green to contrast the bodywork & added race # from the SC10. It's a good bodyshell compared with the others, not to different from the SC10 in fact, a little more angular but thats fine in my opinion
