I made some changes to the setup of this boat. It's now running a 3660 size 1480kV Leopard motor powered by 5s lipo and a 39mm prop. The increased voltage/less kV makes the Amps go down resulting in less stress on the the electrics. As I'm still running a lot on half speed I added some big capacitors to the speedo to make it stay cool. The boat can also be run @ 6s Lipo, but that's overkill again for such an oldie.

Great action shots. These things really fly. I have one bits it's running the standard kit motor. After seeing yours I'm thinking of putting my brushless set up in it with a 3 cell lipo.

It look likes to fast..... You trated the ruls Mister Kai on that little lake, its only 10 mph here what the Police say! For this time i`l give you a warning, the next time it woudt be a big print lol!!!!
