Here's the first prototype of my latest tyre idea. There is a few minor changes needed to get the rims to sit properly.

I wasn't sure about them as I was making them, but with alloy covers and tyre lettering they could look very cool.

After studying them for a few hours I think they look quite fun, I haven't tried them yet, but beach running could be a real laugh..

Anyway, 'everyone' let me know your thoughts ... ??? all comments welcome. :)

I forgot to mention the lights are finished 1 1

I like um!! As you say they would look the part on a beach runner but not sure how the grip would be or how they would affect handling??? Would like to try them on my Hopper!!

Looks different with the small version of the rear tires, but it looks cool on your Scorcher. When we see the hole Scorcher with your best tire choice and the interior finished!

Thanks for every comment, I was thinking of making these like I did the '315s' but you are all right. I need a trial run (maybe I'll try and get a video of then working, or NOT as the case maybe)

Steve, lights look great as do the tires. Have to see them with the white lettering to really finish it off. These would really look good on the F150 I think.

Great work Steve the F150 idea sounds a good one to try them on. Surprised older TC members haven't mentioned the 4WD kit that was available in very limited quantities back in the early 80's from CRP or MRP or similar driven by a flexi/snake drive. I remember a few Tc members had them in their showrooms

Ouch - this is a scorching Scorcher. Have never really liked the original fronts so these make a great alternative- well done

skywhelp

30-Jul-2011

crazy looking bug, absolute gem, i think if you flip the tyres left to right on the front make them more of a dart than scoop, unlike the back, they will run better on the sand works on mtbs, they do look cool though

SRB Bloke

9-Aug-2011

@ skywhelp - Doh!! I didn't realise what you meant to start with, stupid me. Now I get it, haven't finished the bug yet. But I'm testing them as soon as I do..
