You never actually own a Lexus. You merely look after it for the next generation.

description  This is actually a DF-03RA, but this is not about the chassis, besides I will probably change it eventually, cuss it’s really noisy. I removed some of the drive train, to make it RWD. It handles surprisingly well with a LOSI Xelorin 6,5T

I recently sold my trusty 1:1 Volvo 940, and got my hands on a 1:1 Lexus IS200. I have been looking for a nice one for almost a year, and I bought the Tamiya IS200 body even further back. But not knowing what color my 1:1 would be, I had to wait with the model.

I love them both

I used yokomo light buckets, they kind of fit, but a little bit small. I’m not a very big fan of crome rims, but I love the deep dish look. I need to make some kind of exhaust pipe...

Hmm, I can’t seem to find the part number, but there are a couple of sets available on eBay atm. Just search for ” Yokomo Light Buckets Altezza” looks like they are discontinued, and the price is ok so you best get a set at once

Aside from the body mounts, I really thought you were posting the real car in the first photos. I like the depth you have brought to the body. I have this kit, not posted it as I don't like shooting photos of boxes. Please share part numbers of the buckets as I want to use them too.

Tanks guys. I’m glad you like it
twisty: I think ABC Hobby makes some universal invisible body mounts, but this is a 10 year old shell and it was pre-cut…
Henk4Focus: I plan on putting TTE (Toyota’s in-house tuner) lowering springs and different wheels, 17 or 18” on the 1:1.

Cracking car, if it wasn't for the body posts it would easily be mistaken for a 1:1. Great photo locations too.

Now, to pimp the real one to match the 1:10. Real cool looking car.
