| description | Here is my electric version of the Assault, with a Scorpion gearbox and rear cage! The body and decals are from Marwan, this project wouldn't be possible without his devotion to making vintage Kyosho reproductions bodies and decals. The Electrassault is far from a runner yet, but I plan to mount the battery inline with the servo up front. I look forward to running this, I've never had the best luck with nitro!

Just like we didn't see the 'R' we didn't see the chassis.
There's not much too see on the chassis - just the rails and stock Assault standoff's with a reproduced styrene servo tray with no servo slots or holes. Taller standoff's (Tomahawk) would be required to mount the battery transversely. The rear definitely needs the upper cage to complete the look, I agree! I can't believe nobody caught the missing letter on the right rear Sand Super tire!
Very Nice - Great idea - this looks awesome!!!
thanks for the comments and ideas guys!
very cool idea and project Jim, I always thought this car was cool looking but Nitro can be such a pain, this is a great fix
Hot!Hot!Hot!!!!
Nice job, and yes Marwan is the Man
Simply superb! Wow!!
That's a very good looking buggy.
Cool looking buggy! Cheers Lars
Looking good !!!
Nice car ! Chassis pics please ?
the rear end looks a bit odd almost like an after thought, but I do like it. nice job and the finish looks sweet
Nice work Jim, may I suggest you fab up a custom 'frame section' like the cage out back to fasten to the backside o the body and 'fill the gap' between body and rear gearbox- A custom tweak?
I think that looks very kewl! and very original!
I would throw on the rear tubes of the roof/roll cage to tie it all in. Nice work all the way
Looks Brilliant. I love the look of the Assault but not a keen fan of nitro so this is a great idea that I may copy at some point
Thats a winner!! Great work.
