description  WHAT A BUILD! This is my first Big Rig build, and I enjoyed it tremendously. Wife got it for me for Christmas and helped choose colors. Has MFU setup, and custom interior with cabinets, girly calendar, fire extinguisher and bed, open driver and passenger windows. I removed the speaker box and installed the speaker in the top of the cab. Entire body clearcoated and wet sanded/polished. I still have some more work to do, but I'll leave that to do over time... ---- Full Build Thread with over 80 photos! ----> http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=65133

Looks very well indeed on that type of tractor unit, superb!. Many thanks.

Skottoman  26/01/2012 15:01:36
The blue is TS paint - Coral Blue. As used on the Mercedes 1850L delivery truck.

Awesome. Makes me want to eat a Yorkie bar! As a kid I wanted to be a long distance lorry driver, I think it was the Yorkie ad that did it! Great attention to detail.

I have been watching you build this beauty and waiting for it to appear in your showroom. By far one of the best if not THE best rigs I have ever seen here on TC!!!!!!! your attention to detail is absolutely stunning.......... not forgetting to mention the patience needed too. Skottoman  25/01/2012 19:57:12
@gozone - Yes, it was probably the most fun build I've had. So much that I've ordered a Mercedes 1850L delivery truck! But that won't get painted Coral Blue!

Well well well, been following your thread with interest and boy this looks awesome!!! just about got my aeromax all together now but not decided (still) what colour to do it in ..was thinking one solid colour for the cab but seeing this makes me think twice. It's the attention to detail on this like the sleeper detail and the girly calender lol (love to see that full size ha ha) super work mate top notch
