| description | I got this for a song from an old buddy Trismagic. He virtually gave it too me and it was appreciated. I had been contemplating one for years and after having a 'blat' on 4-0's one at a Beacon fell bash a couple of years ago I had to have one. I recently had bit the bullet and bought a bruiser (say that fast if you can) and to be honest I was disappointed in it running capabilities. It looked good on the shelf but that was it. I was then determined to have a 350 or hilift hilux as I knew they ran well. Tris had only just listed this on he club and I rang him straight away. I had to do it quick as the wife was only in the next room (I will ring for a proper chat soon mate I promise) When it arrived it had me puzzled for a bit as It had had a body lift to accompany the bigger wheels but Rodders here tried to assemble the rear bed at normal height not realizing the cab was almost half an inch higher (doh) but I got there in the end. Its brilliant. I have taken every opportunity to have a sly blast round outside the house and I simply cannot wait to lock the diffs and give it a proper run in 'them there woods'. It has already gathered a bit of a smattering of mud and will see a lot more soon. I intend to do something a bit different with the shell in terms of a new scale shell or mad paint job perhaps.

Hi Mark glad it arrived safe and its gone to a good friend on TC .Thanks again Tris
So do I and I hope you can lock the diffs too on the new one. I could swap mine over for better running.
you've got a nice pair, and the good news is that tamiya will re-release the bruiser item nr will be 58519. let's hope the bruyiser has the same chassis as the original one and not as the highlift.
These trucks look awesome in the first picture. The Ford looks like a super off-roader now.
@ Percymon..Just seen the news about the new Bruiser release. Lots of cheap parts and no more worrying about running it hard, Cheap axles and wing mirrors and sensible priced decals
Very nice mate!
Cool looking F350. I wondered what one of these looked like with a set of pumpkin/lunchbox type tires.
Its always good hearing club members doing a good deal for each other.. Enjoy that one sarge !!
looking real nice that!
Nice F350 - you might be able to have your Bruiser with the running ability of the F350 very soon !
