description  Scale Beetle sunroof. And it works!! I wanted to make sunroof work so that the interior details could be seen from above, as some will be hidden from view by Albert. I hoped it would work out to plan, and it has. Few! It slides back & forth with the push of a finger, when its pushed closed it sits low at rear edge, until its pressed upwards into metal strip inlaid into shell roof, then tiny 2mm x 1mm magnets inlaid into sunroof rear edge hold it up level with roof. Have glued some soft cloth on inside of shell were sunroof comes to rest, so as not to scratch my nice paintwork when done. Inside of sunroof needs scale framework done now & brackets afixed for pins that will sit in runners on sunroof frame to keep panel in place. Good news is my roll cage fits perfectly & dont need changing (more luck than judgment) as i had to make frame the size it is for clearance. Thanks for looking

Wow, just floored, or roofed in this case. I can't believe you found magnets that small, let alone the fine finger work to put them all in place. I think I would have lost at least 3 trying to put each into the plastic.
