| description | Thanks goes to Connor for the ideas with paint effects. I admit, my result is quite hideous, but I like it and it felt good to try something new. |

Thanks Connor! It's so true about them not lasting long. I will try the technique in the future. I actually did it with a plastic grocery bag, which I would use again. To be honest I tried the water droplet too, but covered it with the black marble because the black enamel I had came out in big clumps.
Hideous is not how i'd describe it either pal! It looks good & you don't know unless you try! My efforts are far from perfect but I find choice decal placement can help! With the marbling effect, if you are using solvent paints it might be best to do a small area at a time to prevent the paint drying prematurely to allow you to get an even effect. Usually with short course trucks the shells don't last long enough to care too much about the finish anyway, lol
Thanks Max Power. I haven't used it yet but it seemed effective with the examples on you-tube (URC and ProLine channels). The body combined with the SSC chassis should near eliminate the parachuting condition, especially on outdoor tracks with some wind.
It's not hideous, it's unique. How do you find the vented body, does it jump/land much better?
