| description | Ah the Bear Hawk, a buggy with better looks than dynamics. Never very popular but even today it still looks modern and purposeful. This one arrived from eBay in reasonable shape, incorrect /worn wheels and a few scuffs here n there. The body was painted in thick red and black paint but that came off cleanly after 2 days in oven cleaner. The rear cage had a small piece missing but i replaced this with some styrene rod and smoothed it over with filler. The NIB original spare bodyset was sold off once i'd repaired the original body; i'm more than happy with the cleaner, minimal decal, look which shows off the paintwork and body detail far better IMO. I fitted a set of oil filled CVA shocks were fitted along with a sport tuned motor and ESC. Driver repainted and a new front bumper added. Finally some Tamiya grey silver disc wheels were added along with pin spike rears and traxxas treaded fronts tyres.

These are great cars and yes the DF03 shocks are a perfect fit (have a set on mine) they give the car a slight lift which I think it needs anyway for off road. I must get mine finished and listed some time soon LOL .. looks good by the way

Cheers guys - i have some alloy 3Racing DF03 shocks that i might check for fit. The CVAs certainly do the job and are a big improvement over the stock pogos !
