| description | After winning the Pro-Line Reader's Ride of the Month contest a year or so ago, I bashed the original baja bug pretty hard. While I don't remember breaking anything, the original bug shell and chassis started looking a little rough. So, it was time for a few upgrades.
I have an interior ready for fitment and Wild Willy will be the driver. I'll update when that's done.
New shell (which for whatever reason Pro-Line has now discontinued -- grrr), new paint, new wheels, new tires, new STRC aluminum shocks, new rear cage using Kyosho Ultima DB parts, 32p gears, STRC bellcrank steering, etc.
I really struggled with the paint scheme on this one, as most have been done before on the Scorcher. This is about as original as I could get.
I have one more unpainted shell in reserve that will get the Steve-O Full Metal Kermit treatment as a tribute to his excellent Scorcher project.
