description  I've been working on this project for a while. I always wanted to do a little straight axle trophy truck, so I thought I'd use the CC01 chassis as the base. This is where I'm at so far -- F150 lexan body, rear roll cage using modified FAV re-re roll cage, HPI 1.9 Yokohama tires, Axial Walker Evans wheels, custom-fitted TL01la arms up front, Savage rear shocks (too massive for scale but the TRAVEL is enormous, Associated front shocks, Traxxas Monster Jam front bumper, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting about. I like using plastic parts for my builds that anyone has access to. I don't have the capacity or talent to custom weld roll bars, bumpers and such, so I make do with what I have. Still need to add an interior and some additional scale details to rear bed area.

Very original and the use of existing parts is super creative. Very well done, this is going to be even better when you get the interior in and some dirt on it Can you post a pic to show how you grafted the WO roll cage on to the chassis please?

Not too many people can make a vehicle look this awesome with odd parts. Everything goes together wonderfully and does not look like a Frankenmobile. Hats off to you!!!

Cool rig, I like your attitude towards using whats available and re-purposing other parts, that is always fun and can make some very cool results

Wow guys, I'm speechless. Thank you all very much for the kind words. I'm glad you like the truck and I hope to see your own versions soon! I'll be taking some more pictures of the chassis mods when I work on the interior. Thanks again!

Cool looking Truck! You have done a nice job on this. The big rear shocks look great on it and you can't beat some spares on the back too!
