| description | This is the front tire and wheel with actual knock-off. They came with brass bolts to hold them on to begin with. It is sitting between the wheels of an Associated T4. RACO made this car in Santa Anna California. The date in my manual is 1986, it is a little late for my tastes, but it is a monumental car and it deserves to be preserved. This car came in many incarnations and the more deluxe model had a tuned exhaust, nerf bars and a host of other goody's. I have found alloy rear arms, the fore mentioned exhaust, ram air velocity stack, alloy front shock mounts and a host of other features which is why all you see is the wheel. The rubber is all new and came from a fellow enthusiast in Germany. This car is BIG. It is as large as the FG's and runs a pull start Zenoah 22cc engine. It has a Hildebrandt type quick change rear end with 6 different ratios. It came mostly metal, and will have more when I am finished. The engine has had a freshening up and is now a 25cc stroker. The paint is stock if that is possible, Rothman's Racing Team which was Josh's signature. There are other parts that have been fabricated for this project. I will up grade it as time progresses, but it should be ready by Labor Day. We will see.

OK, Labor Day has passed and it still is not finished. In addition to that, I just bought a Stadium Truck from the same manufacture. I have gutted my work benches to do them both at the same time, however the rabbit is ahead. The truck has a runner body and a shelf body, if your shelf has more than 4 feet of space and is 24' wide! The buggy is shorter but not much and the wheel base is the same. It is going to need a top and bottom plate for it to run again and a bunch of wreck removal. The plates are made of a cheap plastic and will be replaced by carbon fiber plate that is 3 to 5mm thick. I will also make the bottom plate one piece instead of mounting the engine on a separate plate. The steering servos are what pushed the bottom out, just was not up to the task, they will be the biggest pair I have and I will not need another. My wife had a cow when she saw the box at 62 pounds and a meter and a half tall!
I wish I knew the answer to that, the address I have for him is no good.
Bradd, what happened to Josh, I never knew.
It has developed into a nearly finished project. I just found out that I should have used Krylon for paint, I tried Tamiya paint for styrene, but it just peeled. Guess I should have read the manual sooner!
I look forward to seeing this one develop, great idea for a project.
