| description | I got this one from a LHS on sale at 50% off… I got it cus I’m usually so impressed by the factory finished bodies, and this one also looked killer from inside the box. But I was surprised when I got home and found that they are molded in red plastic… in different light conditions it almost looked pink… solution, I painted it 2 cotes with flat black on the inside. It really gives the red a deeper more consistent finish, and I would recommend every one that has this, to do so!!
Only worry’s now is scratches in the bumpers, cus they of curse turn red… and it will probably fade in the sun, so it needs shelf space with no sunshine 
The chassis is equipped with alu steering from eBay, (a must have for any cc01 or xc01), full ball bearing, 55T motor, YR universal shafts in the front, 1.55 RC4WD steel white spoke rims with Mickey Thompson baja MTZ tires.
It’s a cool runner and I LOVE the 1.55 wheels, finally someone realized that low profile chrome don’t belong in the woods, or on the rocks

Looks good with those aftermarket wheels, I just ordered some black rims with tyres that look similar to those and I hope they look as good. So farI have only fitted yellow LEDs to the spotlights. Looks a good location for crawling.

Amazing realism! All the pics look extremely scale but the 4th one looks real! I have not seen that rim/tire combo used on these very often (and after seeing this one I'm not sure why) but they really make all the difference. Nice work!
Very cool trucks, Yeah I agree these are pretty nice indeed, glad red is my favorite color as it would be tricky to repaint this one as a runner
