| description | Hello! A while ago, I ran my Axial Wraith for the first time. It was also the first time that my eldest daughter showed some real interest in one of my car, asking for the remote. The car wasn't a speed demon nor was it fragile, so I handed her the remote, and to my great surprise, she was able to drive the thing with relative 'control'.
I had kept NIB this Lunch Box that I bought 2 years ago from a German seller who auctionned lots of them on ebay; I got mine for 38 euros! I thought it would be the perfect car for her to start driving.
I bought a nice Spektrum radio (the basic DX2E, it's light with only 4 cells and you can change the grip to put a really small one), grabbed some bearings , a real servo saver, and a Futaba servo and built this thing in a couple of hours. The paint job took a little longer, and it's my daughter's personal choice. Well, it certainly is original; I showed her some paint schemes I thought would look nice on this car, I even prayed she would pick box art, but no! She had her mind set on the color combo and nothing would flex her will: the roof in purple, the rear in yellow, the front in blue and the sides in red. Well, ok...that's your car my Dear. The decals are a personnal touch too, I suspect there will soon be more of them on the shell once she puts her hands on her animal stickers collection. As for running the car, she enjoyed it a lot, but probably not as much as her daddy. I had read that it was a fun car to drive, but I didn't expect it to be so addictive. I don't even think it would be this fun with oil dampers. I'm left with a single option: buy another one for me!
Enjoy!

It's great that your daughter is getting into RC. It gives me and my 5 year old loads of quality Dad and Daughter time!
Great scheme on a great car! Your daughter has a good taste, mate. This is the perfect car for the kids. My 2 year old son is so happy when my Lunch Box is out for a ride! Laughing all the time. Still, he is a bit too young to drive it properly (we've tried it). His second favourite is my Bear Hawk where he is completely satisfied using the remote and making the wheels turn left and right forever. Let's see how long the servo will last.
Those moments will be cherished for the rest of your lives.. Nice Dad, Sayroll
Who can argue with a kid enjoying a LB!? I can only hope my 2 month-old daughter shows the same interest when she's old enough. I just happened to have just pick up a re-re to add to my original so I'll be ready if she does!
Thanks for your comments,! It is great to be able to share those moments with her.
Very original paint scheme
Very nice LB. I really like the red color and the rear yellow doors. I like the Sand Scorcher 537 decals.
Amazing fun and seriously overlooked!! Mines the best runner I have (along side the hornet!!)
