| description | It is actually not based on a 58127 RS Chassis Kit as there was no listing for something like this! It in fact started life as a FF chassis (See Part 1) and over time converted over and modified piece by piece over the two year sterling service period. My trusty workhorse between 1995-97 it served me up to two different classes at every race meet being the 540 Silver Can class and Modified class. By the end of 1997 it had every conceivable option part from both Tamiya Hop-Up Option and GPM Racing Catalogues.
Most noted are the retrofit GPM Double Deck Graphite saddle arrangement chassis, thick prop shaft and duralumin lower arms that made this chassis virtually bullet-proof as the prerequisite was to survive the pounding associated with racing two classes! The only parts I had to replace on a regular basis were the gearbox covers as the mounts for the shock towers cracked on a regular basis which was a common problem on the TA01/02.
Status: Sold in January 1998 and moved on to a TA03F Pro David Jun chassis.
Next in Part 6: The GTR Era...

@ TIMECMDR: Hey Tariq, been awhile seeing you on TC! Lols Yeah dad alot of good times with it. Reckon I racked up the highest usage of any Tamiya chassis i've ever had.
That is one sweet looking chassis, as you already know I am a huge fan of the TA01/02 based cars!
