I bought this a couple of months ago, I like the colour, it was local and we had one a few years ago that was great fun to run. It looks to be built to a good standard and there are almost no signs of it being run. There are no splits in the shell and there is a Sport Tuned out back. For now it will continue to sit on my shelf until I get round to doing something useful with it!

How It Arrived! Looks Like It Will Be Great Fun. How It Is Now And It Has Turned Out Well!

Nice car, but it is a Stadium Thunder, and not a Stadium Raider.

MAD-BEE, Hello Mate! What's going on buddy? I take a short holiday and then see more of your collection being sold off!! If you carry on like that I will have to send this one down to you to make sure it gets some fresh air and sand between it toes!

Yes mate I have broken the obsessive Tamiya spell!! I am a five car max man now!! Just 5!!!!!
but 3 of my all time favourites are in my 5 set! My very loved Holiday Buggy, iconic Sand Scorcher, military ace FAV! plus my cheap and cheerful runner my Mad Fighter! and my number 5 that's to be revealed soon! I am sure Tamiya will never re-re this one!!!!
I am having to make cuts in my life but these 5 Tamiya's stay and the wife stays too!

....and Peggy our cat is staying too

Its been hard selling some of my collection mate! very hard! it had a grown man in tears!! just about!

But I am very happy with the Tamiya's left standing in my compact collection! My FAB 5!!!
I am at that point in this Hobby when just some of my favourites and a brace of runners is all I need!
Still love this hobby and will keep at it! but other things need to be looked at!
and that is including my wife!

I have to put more money into the right things!
This hobby is not as cheap as chips! I can still enjoy this hobby but at a sensible level!!

I will try!!

Trouble is its so damn addicted!!

Thanks for the chat Doctor Simon!

Tough choices James, but good decisions! Wife, cat and 5 top Tamiyas. I'm intrigued by the soon to arrive 5th model! I nearly put some up for sale at the weekend, but I didn't quite get there...bought a Pumpkin instead ; )

James, Quality over Quantity is a good way to go. Nearly every one of mine sit on the shelf getting no love at all. Now you will have more time for your wife, cat and runners...p.s I'm pleased you kept the Scorcher...and the Fav!
