Kyosho Raider 2WD - low end NIB goodness!
Just arrived from the USA complete NIB, for the sum of £87. My friend used to race his Raider against my Hornet back in the day. I seem to recall that the Hornet rang rings around the Raider - being about 25% faster overall around a track.
The instructions are a bit rubbish; and the less said about the parts listing the better. There seems to be three different ways of numbering parts, bags and spares?!?
I just love this low-end stuff. No-one seems to want it for some reason, but I love the rarity of it!

Great find ! A true classic and rival to the Hornet.

Nice score and I agree about the entry-level cars. They're just as good if not better than the higher-end stuff for certain reasons. I'm a Hornet guy myself so I love hearing that your hornet ran circles around the Raider...lol...I'm thinking of adding a third beater Hornet to my collection just to run without caring too much about it.

The Hornet was my first R/C car, and I remember getting it one Christmas as a total surprise (my parents were great at being creative at buying presents, and getting me into new hobbies etc). The Hornet will always be number one for me too. I just waish I could find a NIB non-rere. I keep being unlucky and missing them, or they are listed for silly kite-flying figures. One day....

Same here...Hornet was my first 'real' and favorite r/c car that was tragically lost due to no fault of my own. Many years later I initially replaced it with a re-re (that's too pretty to run hence the beater Hornet idea) before getting the itch for a NIB original which I eventually got but it took quite a few years to find. Be patient and you'll find one, I'm sure.
