Here is my 4th Hornet NIB!!!

It is the latest Black Metallic Special that should really be called the GREEN METALLIC SPECIAL as it is more Green than Black!!!

The photographs don't do this kit justice.....it is sublime......a work of art....and I am almost certainly going to buy another one.....whilst they are still available.

I think Fusion Hobbies must have sourced this from Stella Models HK because of the packing! Really impressive!

I love it!! :)

Is it true there's a note in the kit to say not to use 2.4ghz radio equipment?

Yes!

I have a 35mhz receiver...so it is no problem.....but this will be a shelfie anyway so it is not really an issue.

I am assuming my Pink Neo Scorcher and my Red Aero Avante will be the same!!!

This could potentially be an expensive purchase in a few years time! Good idea to stock up now!

I assume it still has the protective film on the body? It will be even more shiny once taken off?

The more I hear folks try to describe the color, the more I think of my Black Metallic Midnight Pumpkin that seems to have the same weird color qualities that are anything but BLACK.
To me the colors are like the vintage screws from the '80s, tri color and depending on the lot you got, was either green, orange or brassy yellow.

ya right it has a hint of green to the body but it don't look bad for it! sport tuned motor looks the part in it and ive put a 2.4ghz in mine and have had no problems with it! enjoy the build mate!!

Gotta love this kit, still working on mine and waiting for the sport tuned motor to turn up.

Curious: Why isnĀ“t it reccomended to use a 2.4ghz in it? Makes no sence what so ever for a noob like me!

They are claiming the metallic paint on the inside of the body shell interferes with the digital signal from a 2.4GHz radio set.

Cool kit and body color. Interesting about the metallic affecting the ghz radio.
