Nice Vintage Sand Scorcher
Recent epay buy.
Should be here next week.
Seller also had a real nice Hilux, tried to make a deal on both, unfortunately for me was unsuccessful :(
Was happy to make a deal on the Scorcher, has a nice vintage paint job and from what I can see has all the original body accessories.
Has a few nice hop ups on it, check out that monster sized esc, think it is for a boat!
Would like to know who bought the Hilux, that buy it now had some hop ups for the Scorcher in it.

wow that is a massive esc, good looking scorcher

You are right Mike, I beleive that ESC is better suited in a boat. There is a unit Futaba made about the same time called the MC-IIB, not to be confused with an MC-11B as it came much later. I do hope you find those other hop ups in the other auction and this color combo is starting to grow on me.

I saw it when it was for sale and was curious about the ESC. A really nice Futaba! Oh, and great purchase, too!

Nice buy, this looks really good. I have now had a chance to use the Sport Tuned motor in my ReRe Sand Scorcher and it was good fun, just right not over powered and enough extra grunt to make it enjoyable.

Thanks for all the comments guys! This is the kind of Scorcher that trips my trigger, cool vintage paint job, some nice period hop ups, and complete! Thanks for the update on the Sport Tuned Grumpy, I bought one for a runner Scorcher I'm building now, it's going to be a mix of a re release with some old school hop ups thrown in, coming along nicely
