I've had this FAV for a few years but had only driven it once or twice, so after getting inspired by you guys posting cool projects lately I took it out today a gave it three or four packs and a good proper break in without breaking anything ;). Power is a HPI 35t which is perfect for this cars limited but scale working suspension and keeps it tires down but still not slow by any means. Tonight I snapped a few quick action shots then I just enjoyed tooling it around throwing up dust clouds ;)

Nice Seth. You beat me too it, I was just about to post running shots of my FAV Your model was definitely one of the reasons I had to get one too. Your builds never get old, true classics and this ones no exception

All we need with pic 8 is some tracer fire coming out of the gun, looks great and realistic in that shot.

Great set of pics! These are fun runners indeed, with their somewhat bouncy, but quite good type of suspension.

Great shots, as always, Seth. Keep it up, it's great to see them being used as Tamiya intended!

Haha! The highlight of my evening...popping onto TC and seeing your post. You've framed the picture set nicely. All the pics are exclellent, but the 1st and last pics are very nice 'bookends'. I need to make some time to go run mine...maybe when I get my Scorpion re-re built I can do a photo set of plastic fantastic vs metal swing armed buggies in action!

Lovely scale buggy. They turn out very enjoyable when the suspensions work properly, as real cars, specially when you run slowly you can appreciate that. Oil shocks are great for performance but not always the best choice for scale action (in my opinion).

They are excellent photos! It looks like a real vehicle in most of the shots.
