Hirobo Rock 'N City 44B
Been after one of these for ages as I'm a bit of a Hirobo nut and don't they look just ace? Interesting design and engineering too.
This one came from quite an unlikely source. My mate Simon (smitchos) bagged this one at a local auction and in turn I bought it from him. It was in quite a bit of a state, covered in a thick layer of dirt and damage/missing parts from the left hand rear. Still, I couldn't pass it up.
I needed parts so a wanted ad was placed on here and as luck would have it TC member 'fristajlo' (Martin) had the parts I needed plus loads more. With the parts in hand I set about cleaning the old girl up which took quite a bit of elbow grease but it all turned out very nicely indeed. The spares were fitted and here we are :)
What's all the more amazing is that I've only had this car about a week. So from buying it, sourcing the parts and restoring it's took very little time. Quite good going for such a rare model.
Big thanks go to Simon for selling it to me and Martin for sending the parts so quickly.
Thanks for looking.
