I'm just not really into buying at the moment, I still look most days, but my hearts just not in it right now....cue sad face : (
But I regretted selling my M38 last year and I tried to buy it back without any luck, but then this little gem turned up on the Bay of temptation. The prices of Tamiya seem to be all over the place at the mo, but I guess as the economy is improving hobbies are becoming possible again and the prices on Tamiya seem to be rising. Anyway this little guy was £168 all in and whilst not mint it is very, very nice and I am very happy, I wouldn't have bothered to buy it, but as it was local, in great shape and as importantly a SWB so that was all fine by me. I know it's missing the window hinges, but otherwise it looks pretty complete. My 12YO still prefers her WW2, but that's ok as well : ). Hope you like it.

Know how you feel Simon there comes a time in this Hobby when we naturally start to slow up and me personally seems to be over the big collection period and only have cars now that are special to me and are big icons of this game!
and must say you sure have a big icon here my old mucker!
Nice one pal it looks great and pleased you have one again! and how about that price!!!
I can't believe how cheap classic Tamiya's can be bought for these days!
Cooltoys
The Swb looks great.. Just a few little items to replace i hope.. I haven't got a chance to find a swb..

Great buy, now is the time to buy good cars, if you have the funds as prices are low.

mackerb83, thanks bud, I am a little bit jealous of your NIB 😉, possibly my favourite box art as well. That's a very nice one to own congrats. MAD-BEE, my Cornish buddy! How are you and tricks? Thanks for looking in. Sweet Jeep, perhaps a little heavy on price. But since a Blazing Blazer sold last week for 1k I can't call the prices anymore. I took the view I paid only a little more than the under bidder and to me the SWB is the holy Grail of WWs 😊. Glad you like it though.

Ooh, that's very nice. I don't think it was a bad price for a SWB, especially in such good condition. Must admit I'm a 'tiny' bit jealous
RallyeBaz

MAD-BEE

Hi Cooltoys, thanks for your feedback. There doesn't look like much to find just minor items, the grill and winch have survived! Good luck with your seach. Thanks grizz, not a car boot bargain, but not over the top on price I don't think either.

JWeston, thanks bud. No I won't be selling this one or playing wheelie footy with it either 😉. Hi RallyeBaz...you are right on that one. Top little model, crazy mad to drive and fun to watch in action.

IBIFTKH, thanks bud. That is high praise in deed, I appreciate your feedback. MAD-BEE, I'm pleased things are all good. I reckon it will be socks for me again this year too 😃😃😃
