1 will be built with rc-monster electric conversion.
2nd kit for spares.
body painted,
chassis complete,
electrics installed,
2s run just to check and a shake down, WOW this thing is Great.
Castle mamba with castle 2200kv motor, 15t pinion, savox 1258tg servo. 6th pic is after a good run on 4s and then 6s. Car is mad on 6s

I run the rc monster conversion on my trf801xt its a well made bit of kit.
I love running my 801xt super fast on a 4s I'm not brave enough to try it on a 6s..

I am a little surprised there are not more trf801's on Tamiya club.
I will be fitting the Castle mamba system that can handle 6s, so it may get tried at full power

Great cars!! I have 2 also, one with the mamba monster combo 2200Kv and the other with a Novarossi .28-7T and both go like mad! Cheers, Bram

Fantastic cars, I have one of each. The quality is superb and hop ups look fantastic.
Mine will be glow powered tho.
There is a lot of valuable info on RCTECH.

Yep, fantastic truggy. I ran mine with the same setup, and it was a blast. I only sold it due to focus on the 1/10's.
