This kit was my very first Tamiya RC kit ever! Over the years I have collected a few vintage cars and I have bought a lot of modern day kits. But this one was always on the top of my list. I had to have a 58009 Celica again and today I succeeded. Back in the day I converted it into the red and white Rodenstock version. This one will stay blue but I will try to obtain a second bodyshell to make a Rodenstock version again. I am a very happy man!
April third:
I ordered two rear wheels with sponge tyres NIB from the U.K. and a white new body from Japan. I am waiting next to the mailbox now.... Will update once received.
-came with a nice box.

Really nice- one of my favourites also. Have a Red Rodenstock shell hanging on my wall - Its not brilliant but original and looks the part - just need a chassis. Well done on finding this one - Enjoy

I saw a Tamiya one for the 1st time a few months ago and it was very nice. Red and White though. Well bought this one.
