Still sealed! Perfection.
Everyone's first Tamiya has a special place in their heart. Mine was one of these, July 19th 1990. I made a complete mess of the body, crashed it on the first run and because I'd never heard of threadlock it fell apart every time I drove it. I sold it in 1993 and all I have left is the empty box (see last photo). 25 years later I started looking for another and located this NIB. Unbelievably still shrink wrapped. I doubt I could have found a better one! This will remain like this and I'm intending to build another from parts.
*** Update 21st July 2015 ***
My curiosity got the better of me and I carefully opened the shrink wrap to view the contents. Bent divider but other than that, all good!

That is a great story and congrats on finding what you wanted. If I can help on any bits to put together your other one, let me know, I have a few parts hanging around here from my builds of the KC and HR trucks.

Talk about being jealous! I had one as a kid (check my showroom) and would love to get my sticky fingers on a NIB to keep for memories sake. That is a MINT kit mate, well done! *bows down*

Great memories for me as well. Nice score! This is my favorite RC Car of all time. The only kit on my wishlist for a NIB.
