Tamiya's first 4wd buggy
Just finished building my Rere hotshot. Vintage box art colours with gold wheels. Body painted in Tamiya bright mica red. I remember I used to drool over this buggy when it first came out in 1985. Great memories this one. Thanks Tamiya for the rerelease.

Mica Red is vintage colour?
dr.roberts
@kontemax, I meant vintage box art colours. I can't help it to use mica red. it looks brighter and metallic.

Looks great in mica red. Very nice pictures of one of the most iconic buggies. Should really add one of these to my collection, while still available.

Thanks for the drool sesion on my end to Doc. I kinda agree with Max, a little on the orange shade, but I bet it sparkles in the sunlight.

Thanks guys. @Crash Cramer & Kontemax, its not that orangey in real life. Photos don't do justice. You should try using this colour first.

I respect that Doc, I can see in the last photo how the body color AND the monoshock support as well as the rear hub carriers are very close looking in shade of color. I would like to visit this one in person, but I might try that myself as well. What PS color code is the Mica Red???
dr.roberts
@Crash Cramer, its a limited edition tamiya ps paint. No paint code. Its just called bright mica red. It was made for Ferrari F60. Thanks.
