I got this from another TC member as an audi. I got a TBG body and used the body parts from a NIB ascona kit. I didn't break into any screw packets for bumpers to keep the chassis 100% complete unopened. I masked the stripes and used repro decals. the part done original body has gone back in the box for another day. I like to use cars I've built so don't know what to do with the nib.

Very nice as well Jem, it looks at home on the gravel too. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action.

Very nice car. Love the Ascona body. Wonder why Mr. T never made an Irmscher Manta 400, that would have looked great next to the Ascona.

GP. Should be good fun, not a bit of damping in the suspension so could be a bouncy ride.but good photos.

Klausan:The manta 400 would have made a perfect match for these. Nothing is as cool as a vintage rally car

My Audi was a 'mare to drive, could have been my model though. This will look great kicking up the dirt.

Looks great, lets hope that Tamiya re-releases the Ascona 400 soon now that they've done the Willys Wheeler
