I know it's static but I'm sure some will appreciate it. The Tamiya Ferrari 312b. Aside from the 935...this was probably the most difficult model I've done. The parts though nice and clean, didn't really fall in place as easily as I thought they would...you know, tie that in with trying not to mess up the paint job with glue...handling it, trying to get parts to mesh. Anyway...I made it through...I did make a mistake as far as the decals...misplacement of the firestone decals on the spoilers for Andretti's car but...I really don't care..It's not sitting in a museum...I did enjoy it when it went well...really a fantastic looking model.

very impressed. I have a 312T4 to build and would be happy if it looked half as good as yours!

Hey, thanks a lot for the nice compliments. They developed this model so you could take the engine out and the cowling off the front. Trust me when I say there is very little motivation to want to remove anything if you can get it together right. I still enjoy it and would probably do another vintage F1 in the future.

That IS some museum quality work there. Not posted for a year and then you slam us with this piece of art. WOW. Good to see you still puttering about with models. I think your driver looks a bit worried about scratching the paint, I can see it in his eyes.

Haha..Hey Crash...thank you...well..life has me really busy. I do have a TA06 waiting in a box..just don't have the time I had last year. I've enjoyed the statics lately for a piece of mind...relaxing. I work a lot these days. I do have a static 1/12 Lola, 935 and 934..it's comforting to know I still get to put those together. Hope you are well!
