slow build
Got my Honda city turbo a few weeks ago and slowly built it over about two weeks I stripped the pre-built gearbox to put ball races in it put a full set of white (limited edition) tamiya mini shocks and a 17t modified motor, Its fast!!! mind you I had to trim the front wheel arches about 1mm because the tyres cought don't notice though so its no problem, anyway hope you like it coz I'm well pleased with it how cool would it look to have a club race with a dozen or more Honda cities flying around a track!

Looks GREAT......Is it fun to drive??

Its fun in a comical way and it don't do the rough stuff very well and its ballistic with a modified motor in it!

Nice work! I for one would fully support a Honda City race, just like the support races they ran back in the day
Wandy
Loving it mate. Am really looking forward to building mine too.

Looks great. The original shocks are a bizarre rubber hose damped disaster but after all it's all for fun. 95% finished mine and we should have at least 4 running together with different paint jobs soon.
Grumpy pants
Looks ace, I'm really enjoying building mine. Did you paint the shell?
moffman
Yes I did paint the shell grumpy pants then put clear lacquer over it I wasn't going to because it's going to be a runner but I'm glad I did coz you do really notice the difference!

Very cool to see this car pop back up on the TC front page after all these years. I still want one and your WHITE shocks do make it look better. Now I am thinking of what paint job I would do to mine to make it stand out among a race grid full of them. HMMMMM, let me think.
Nice pair of Willy machines there.

You wouldn't recommend one for the beach then?? I am building my Unimog Wheelie right now! Can't wait to try it out!
I may still get a Honda City! If anything just because these look so cool!
moffman
It won't even go on very short grass mad-bee mind you it was wet! So ya got no chance with sand!!
MAD-BEE
Lol...I was thinking these may handle the flat wet sand! But looks like no! But would still love to try!!! how cool would it look belting aross the beach!
I would not like to change the wheels/tyres as its part of this cars charms!!
Perhaps not for off road then!
Must say though I still fancy one anyway just for a cool funky looking shelfer!!
Great release from Tamiya!

It does look great and the time spent painting has paid off imo.

If you haven't painted your body yet grumpy pants I would highly recommend doing it like I say I does make a difference!

I can't wait to get mine after ordering online Saturday although wont be box art. Would be a nightmare on a track grid with every car looking the same lol
