Just awesome!! But just too big! Had one once and possibly the most fun I've had from a Tamiya!

I had a Subaru Brat body on it! Maybe you remember seeing it on the TC? It was a bit slow but it was unstoppable on the beach! I would drive in the sea too! Fantastic thing! It just kept on going over any soft sand and in fair deep water too! But it was a big thing to keep in a one bed apartment!lol

But the Clod Buster and Bull Head deserve a lot of credit! 'Awesome machines'
PS tougher than you think too!!

I would love one again!!
How does yours handle with those gold shocks??and that fast motor combo?

I went back to the standard shocks as the gold ones are too short it only had about 2mm of travel before hitting the servo against the chassis, I need to make a bracket for the gold ones and get 4 more really but will put them back on one day.
It handles pretty well and wheelies even on wet grass using half throttle and so long as I don't use the rear steering at speed it stays on at least one wheel, it took a beating at the local park the other day and came back in one piece I'm just a bit worried about ruining the shell been a Chevy one, need to get a lexan 1 for bashing I think.
you're clod brat rings a bell, always love your stuff,

Yeah that body is an original and made from plastic! Fragile old plastic!

Maybe a lexan shell would be a good idea on a brushless Clod!
Thanks for the compliment pal.

Nice clod! I bet it's a handful with brushless on a stock chassis, but driving it on the limits is where half the fun is

The rear is a Crawford performance engeneering mount from eBay. Front bumper/servo mount is also off eBay but not branded wish I had got two bumper mounts a Lil more expensive but would protect the servo better as well as been better looking and neater. May get another later on.
