This was on the Tamiya Striker I got recently and its quite unusual looks like a slipper to me, I cant get it all out as need to dismantle the gearbox I think.
Any information would be appreciated. thank you..

It seems a centrifugal clutch like the ones used on the glow engined models. It's a simple and good idea I believe!

had a bit of a play and it does function as a slipper clutch. would love to know who made these if its not home made and what its value would be???

Thanks to 'Cesar' who informed me that this is a Kyosho Option House Torque Limiting Clutch. I must say its quite an impressive bit of kit, they are available in a range of sizes and happily fit inside most cars, absolutely awesome.
