I am a big Renault fan (even though I don't drive one myself) and I was born in 1971....hence my screen name lol
I loved this model as soon as I set eyes on it....so today I have completed this great build :)
She is fully ball raced throughout and has a Tamiya black motor 'Sport tuned' fitted...with 20T steel pinion.
The front is highly detailed and has some very delicate items on there which will be totally destroyed in the event of a driving accident.....so this car will run on very nice days.....carefully....probably on my own as driving with others tends to make you more reckless than when you are on your own concentrating...... ;)
All details have been hand painted......and all decals applied with warm soapy water to make them easier to install correctly.
This is my second M-06 chassis, the other being the Lowrider.....I love how smooth they are on tarmac! :)
Thanks for looking ;)

GORGEOUS paintwork, I am jelous, but I have a question. Is that the height the manual states it is set at?? It looks a little high to me, but it still looks great.

Thanks guys
Crash...the manual is just the generic M-06 chassis manual. So there is actually no guidance on the body height. I have allowed for suspension compression - any lower and the wheels would foul the wheel arches.

Body lowered by 1 hole per post.....front tyres can touch the wheel arch under full compression and full lock...but it does look better!

I hear ya, don't want to ruin all that paintwork, too bad there isn't a few more tire options for these cars, perhaps with a bit of a slant toward NARROW, old school type tires versus these wide/modern street machine tires.
Hopefully, when they finally tweak the home jet pack, we will have 3D printing of rubber for making our own tires.

Yeah lol..I might not run it

Love the Alpine. Would like to find a decent real car to import. I too spent a lot of time on my first build, but then I weathered it to look like it spent a day on the tarmac and gravel. Love the itty bitty front end work!
