Another TGX to add to the collection. I recently acquired from Ebay, the chassis was built but the body was unpainted. This was my second crack at the Raybrig body-set as my all black TGR has one fitted. Its a tough decal set to apply, but overall I'm very happy with how it turned out. Not yet installed are the front winglet additions, which are yet to be secured on to the body.

I masked and painted the rear diffuser instead of using the supplied decals and it looks great. This chassis comes factory with wide rear axles and hub spacers to stance the rear wheels. I haven't seen this on any of my other TGX models. The car would look funny with the rims under the guards otherwise as the rim offset is the same front to rear.

Thanks guys, you are both the TGX kings. I'm still collecting the set. Really want an R390 GT1 and that will bring my collection to 9 TGX models on display.

The rear long axle and wheel bushing would be almost impossible to source but I wish I could get more of them as the stock offset on most TGX's is pretty weak. I have a couple more TGX's to list up.

Sadly a lot of the parts were never offered by Tamiya as spare parts for the TGX range. The black TRF parts and the cut off rally bumper to name two. I loved collecting the full set and now only the Impreza 2001 body eludes me. I have a chassis done for all the option bodies including the 350Z too but need to get them painted and then listed.

oh and plenty of R390 GT1 bodies in Japan at the moment.
