Was up until 3.30 this morning (got carried away actually) still got plenty to do electrics and finish off the body with one or two more coats of lacquer and of course paint the little driver!.

I wonder if anyone is going to fill in the holes for the mirrors? I'd probably putty and paint over them. At least pretend Tamiya used the original mold for the body (like they did on the Blitzer, so we know they could have done)!

I'm having trouble with the gearbox at the moment! If the drive shafts are straight it fine bit if they drop its like the gearbox is about to explode and I can't for the life of me see what it is? I've had the gearbox apart a dozen times and its perfect and the drive shafts are totally free its like the wheels are just to heavy?, I'm baffled???

Have you tried adding some rubber O-rings to the inside of the drive cups? Sometimes there's too much slop which creates trouble.

Yeah I did that and it just stopped the suspension arms moving freely I think everything got to tight!

Lookin' good there mate! I know the feeling and it's great burning that midnight oil with the excitement fueling that! Maybe if you tried experimenting on the Frog universal shafts it may help?
