Optima MID Custom Special

This one was offered for sale recently, with a pricetag that i would rate about 50% they're usually to be found. As the description was a little misleading, i first hesitated (like many others before maybe). It was offered as 'kit without motor and manual', so i think this kept some potential buyers off because it can be hard to find one of these legendary NIP Kyosho Lemans motors. When i did a little research, i soon noticed that these kits do in fact have no motor included! Ok- the box has seen better days but apart from the manual, this kit is 100% complete, and so i comes that now it's mine:-)
The MID Custom Special is the final version of the Optima series, features a long wheelbase and fibreglass chassis. The body is more modern concept than the boxy ones from earlier optimas, but it has also nice goldie shocks and also comes fully ballraced. Very happy to have this in my collection.
