description  Standard WD apart from being ball raced, oil filled Tamiya shocks & sport tuned motors. The stock bodyshell was painted with green colour-change green/gold paint to compliment the stickers. However the poor old truck got a darn good thrashing offroad, leaping off rocks, and scrabbling up hillsides. 1 popped driveshaft & broken back suspension arm later, plus a raggety looking truck, and I decide it needs a new look. So enter the Landrover replacement bodyshells!

2006 Landy bodyshell 1 - a Somerbodies Landrover Series 2/3 lexan shell, adapted from a Traxxas chassis. I added thin sheet aluminium checkerplate and painted it blue & grey Wessex Water corporate colours . Twin Detonator white wheels. Unfortunately it looks better than it runs; its a bit top heavy.
2007 Landy bodyshell 2 - HPI Defender replica. The body fits the wheel base well, its lighter, looks cooler and runs much better now!
