First of all, I promised a video - and it's going to be ready later today!
I've done a few tweaks to my 5700 Kv Brushless Pumpkin in order to try and compensate for the crazy amount of power the Castle Creations motor puts out.
The main issues I came across with my previous 'speed attempts' was the lack of grip of the stock tyres, and the useless damping from the old yellow tamiya CVA's.
I was lucky enough to come across a new old stock set of vintage oil shocks, in metallic blue :D. They are just a tad shorter than tamiya's short shocks, and have ball end joints. Their damping is perfect for the lightweight pumpkin chassis, even the rear suspension seems to be working now!
For tyres, I've gone for Imex Claw Dawgs, as they are almost equal in outer dimensions to the original tyres. You might have noticed that I've fitted original blackfoot rims. I needed too, as the pumpkin rims were too small for the imex tyres.
Along with the new bits, I replaced all the lower chassis parts with new ones (old ones were a little worse for ware!) and the gear box case is also new as my super glued repair on the wheelie bar mount finally gave up last week!
The only original parts left now, from when i got the truck, is the main chassis tub, main body shell, grill, front bumper and the diff gear!!!
The truck still retains all its modifications, such as the chassis braces, strut tower brace, huge wheelie bar, angled rear shocks, foam inserts, cable tied front suspension, 3rd shock mod, BB's motor heat sink, customized front body posts and esc deck (i think thats the lot!!! :P)
A video testing the new bits will be uploaded soon, thanks for looking!!!

EDIT: Video now uploaded :-)

Can't wait to see your video! Does the Blackfoot rims fit right on, or do they need modification? The tires look great!

cheers guys! MvT, its a Castle Sidewinder esc. Castle's cheaper version of the Mamba (it's not got the castle link and can't take as larger lipo pack) but the 5700 motor is the same one that comes with the mamba setup. Fully ball raced too
