This diff cover is designed to protect the rear drive belt and pulley from stones and dust.
The only holes are the ones where the belt exit and enter.

I have designed the cover so that the 'belt' holes are moved forward in the car. It also means that the lower hole is moved up from the lower deck. This reduces the risk of any dust and small stones to enter the holes.

There are no screws to attach the cover. The bottom part can be secured with the same screws as the stock rear belt cover. I´ve also added the 'grooves' so you can use stabilisers.
I have also made the diff cover compatible with a reversed damper tower. You simply flip a part of the upper cover. This way you move the mounting hole.

The upper cover is held in place by the shock mount/tower. So when you remove the shock mount you can remove the upper cover. When the upper cover is removed you can remove the diff. No need to remove the bottom part, unless you need to change the belt. But it is as easy as removing the top deck.

I´ve used this diff cover all season. I´ve been running on all types of surfaces. I have used the same belts and pulley.

UPDATE
I´ve added some feedback from customers around the world.

CAD 3D-model. The 'real' cover is black Remove upper bulk and you can remove the cover. Reversed damper tower setup 4 piece cover. Diff still working just fine after this session Rather clean

Cool design!

I don't race belt drive buggies, but I bet this indeed works well (the way Tamiya manufactured it, it had no protection at all!) - It's so nice to see people manufacture this stuff on their own Innovative solutions now, and period hopups that are hard to find 10-20 years from now!

I already have a solution if you want to reverse the shock tower. Similiar diff cover will also be available for the 501X

Feedback 1:
He makes ingenious devices which fit PERFECTLY in tamiya TRF511 car.The diff. cover is excellent - totally a professional design. I was worried before I recieved it that there might be issues with installation because of the complex nature of the trf511 rear end (shock tower, upper deck and diff housing) - but there was not a single issue ! The quality is also great. I ordered the diff. cover because I ruined the rear belt and pulley with asingle rock that also chipped the carbon fiber. I have had no issueswhatsoever after running the car with the belt cover. I have yet to checkthe state of the diff after using the cover, but I am sure it will keep outalot more dirt than before I had it. I think that the cover is ESSENTIAL for this car !

Feedback 2:
'I´ve just tested the diff cover and it´s working GREAT! I´m so happy that I could drive for 1 1/2 hour without any problems on a track with small stones. Earlier I had to replace pulleys and belts 2 times in 20 minutes when driving on my local track. I also like that you can flip the dampertower and still use the same cover. I´m VERY satisfied!'

Feedback 3:
After using the diff cover in the last weekend, i would like to recommend it to all of you trf501 or trf511 guys. It must be one of the first purchases of any trf5x1 owner, it protects the diff and belt perfectly. If you don't want to clean the diff after every few runs, use it.

Feedback 4:
Super fit and very easy to install. Amazing how well it works. Took mine to a gravel football field and bashed the living daylights out of it. There was dust and pebbles all over the place but none inside of the car and the diff was totally clean.Very impressed with it. Think Tamiya ought to thank Fremi in some way

The cover is great. The best thing for me is that I don’t have to worryabout the cabling of the saddle pack!
When I’m switching to the TRF511 I will be your customer again
