BRATLE - I got the baja bug!

Body and chassis now finished on my BRATLE Baja VW project. It took me a couple of days working to get to this point -from the yellow paint to the decals. Obviously, I was after the looks of a 70's Baja racer. Well, now I'm only lacking the dang rear cage, and probably a mock VW engine. That's the last step and this Beach runner will be finished. Any comments or input regarding how to work the rear cage and mock engine will be very welcome.
The last two pictures show my two Baja racers. If I was rich, I'd sure take these two to the beach!
Oh, and the driver is now on its way to me from the Isle of Man, homeland of The Bee Gees.

Yeah, I saw your awesome work with the rear cage. But I don't have anything to start working with
Nice work, its gonna look the dogs doodahs. Have a look at my frog Scorcher clones for the rear cage. I mounted them via the gearbox.
What a great idea I really like the reference pice and look forward to your creation.
