| description | hi everybody. it's been a while since i posted any pics of my cars due to unforseen incidents that happened. i'm happy to say that things are going great and i finally have some time to focus on my collection. i've started on one of the custom supra gt bodied i always wanted in my personal collection. here's the beginning of the sard supra gt body. it's based off the castrol tom's supra gt body since the tamiya shells have better detail that the kyosho pure ten series bodyset. it took me a couple of hours to mask off the body using scotch medium tack painters tape and trimming out curves and little details. the paint turned out great with no runs but i will have to wait and see the finished project when i spray the white paint and when i receive the custom decal sheets from willy chang. as for the chassis, i have a choice of the original ta02, the carbon fiber ta02 chassis or restore a just purchased ta03f pro chassis? all comments are greatly appreciated. thanks for looking

i'm still waiting for some decals but i will post some pics of how it's coming along in a bit. i'll be more than happy to help you out with your project if you choose to build one.
Veru curious for the finished result! Looks to become very nice. How about the custom decals. Did you already get them? Can you post a picture I am very interested. Maybe I want to do the same project. (if you don't mind)
the gloves belong to my wife from her job. forgot to move them out of the pic. oops!!!!
how many latex gloves does one man need? are you painting or operating? lol great paint job on a nice car. keep up the good work and keep us posted
Glad that's not me masking that! I vote carbon TA-02, should look great when finished
its gonna look great when finished.just take your time.
thanks for the comments. it's been a few years since i've done this type of paintwork. i hope it turns out great since this body is getting hard to find.
That is some serious masking work you have done. Good luck. Hope it turns out great.
Looks like a fun bit of masking!
