| description | Here's an original Grasshopper that I decided to give a military look. As with every GH or Hornet I've ever built, I immediately ground off the front bumper mounts to better showcase Tamiya's wonderful front end design (Not so functional, but good-looking). I also like the look of the RR wheels on the GH, so I added a set (still cheap from TamiyaUSA). GHs understeer horribly, so 540 power and 7.2V is necessary to even think about breaking the rear tires loose in the dirt. Grasshoppers aren't that good off road, but they make great flat trackers, and are fun to slide a drift. I'll probably add some more decals and hung-on tools, etc., and bash it around on a dusty infield, but for now you get the idea.

Looks great, just a little few decals woudt just break the paint!
Please enter this in this months Mad Max competition! You would get my vote!
Reminds me of Hypnotoad, [Click here]
You should add some black lines and details just to offset the drab colour. It would look stunning with just a few 'army' decals.
In the last pic. it looks like a sinister 'bug on the beach'.I like it.
Good looking Hopper, Those front tires are my favorite ever used on a buggy, so scale!
I like it Bob, needs some black military stenciling. I vote U.S.M.C. down the sides, wheels look just right too!!
Very cool....it looks really good and different from the usual FAVs done in this scheme. You were really thorough with the paint and I can totally see this rumbling across the desert. Nice work!
Well that should blend in nicely!
