Tamiya 58026 Renault 5 Turbo Competition Special CS RC Car Vintage Acoms 1981

New built and never run Tamiya Renault 5 Turbo Competition Special. Includes new and unused vintage Acoms radiogear, which is also sought after. All you need is batteries and transmitter to get this running. The shell is unpainted and complete with the sticker sheet, driver figure and instructions.

The real Renault 5 Turbo was a crazy machine, a super short wheelbase and huge power from a mid/rear mounted engine - just like the 1/12 Tamiya model produced in 1981. The lightweight nylon uprights of the updated F1 'Competition Special' were grafted onto a new FRP chassis with aluminium radio tray and RS540 motor to create this pocket rocket racer.

The metal mount for the driver figure is included along with the R clips to attach the body and other screws for finishing off the body.

The screw bags, assembly tools and other bits are also in the grey cardboard box which is from the original kit box.
