This is 136 in the car line. It is a pretty obscure truck, there isn't even a manual for it in the manual section. Fortunatly, the S-10 is very similar, doesn't help much when it comes time to paint and sticker. This body is difficult in that it requires a lot of taping and 3 colors to follow the box art. The bed needs to be done first, followed by the red, then the white over everyting. The chassis has components from the ta01 and ta02, but for the most part is an 02. It really needs real dampers to get the bouncy out of it, and it sits a little high for the lack of ground clearence. I thought that the wheel wells could have been better centered over the wheels, but that is a pet peeve of mine. Mine came with a badly nackered body and has gone through a metamorphisis since I started, but that is in the description in the showroom. There were 3 trucks in ths series that were the same except body. I believe you could switch all 3 between the one chassis. They do not come up very often, and when they do, they are usually well played with. While chassis parts are still fairly easy, however declining, the bodies are almost non-exsistant. The same body was used on the monster version and I suspect that is where they went, although the holes are just slightly different. Tires and wheels are easy again and seem to be everywhere. I got the set of tires for 25.00 off of a club member, then JR-RC had them for 7.00 a set and the wheels about the same. Oh well, no harm no foul. I would build one of these again, and I have a nib body to replace the one I 'restored'. If you see a body, snatch it up, in 6 months of having it on watch, I haven't seen another. Not a great handler, but a good looker and a good addition to any collection.
